IELTS Speaking Part 1 Questions (Jan-Apr 2025)
雅思口試 本季最新Part 1題目 (2025年1月至4月)
Bộ đề dự đoán IELTS Speaking Quý 1 (T1 – 04/2025)
28. Emails
1. Do you often send emails?
→ I would say I do it fairly often. Given the nature of my job, it’s one of the main ways I stay in touch with colleagues and clients. It’s also a practical method for keeping track of important conversations and documents.
→ Honestly, I hardly ever send emails. They feel a bit outdated to me, and I find texting or using messaging apps much more convenient.
→ Not really. Emails feel a bit formal and can sometimes take longer to get a response, while messages are more immediate and casual for everyday conversations.

2. When would you send emails to others?
→ I use emails whenever I want to keep a record of my conversations. It’s particularly useful for discussions that involve important details or agreements.
→ To be truthful, I don’t send emails at all unless it’s absolutely necessary. If I need to reach out, I prefer calling or messaging instead.
3. Is sending emails popular in your country?
→ No, emails aren’t really widely used here. It feels like instant messaging has taken over, especially among younger generations who just love the speed and convenience of texting. Why wait for an email when you can get a quick reply in a chat?
→ I can’t say that sending emails is common here. Most people tend to rely on social media instead. Platforms like Facebook and Instagram allow for instant updates and interactions, which emails simply can’t compete with.
4. Do you think sending emails will be more or less popular in the future?
→ To be honest, I expect sending emails to decline in popularity. People seem to prefer quick chats over lengthy emails. As more people turn to apps for communication, emails may become a thing of the past.
→ No, I don’t think sending emails will gain popularity. It feels like they’re becoming obsolete as people look for quicker ways to communicate. The trend is clearly shifting toward instant messaging and social media platforms.
