IELTS Speaking Part 1 Questions (Jan-Apr 2025)

雅思口試 本季最新Part 1題目 (2025年1月至4月)

Bộ đề dự đoán IELTS Speaking Quý 1 (T1 – 04/2025)

4. Home & Accommodation

1. Do you live in a house or an apartment?

→ I'm currently staying in a flat in the heart of city. It’s a cozy space that offers all the amenities I need while being close to the city’s vibrant life. The convenience of having shops and cafes nearby makes it an ideal choice for me. Although I’ve always imagined living in a large villa one day, but If I had chosen a house, I would have had to deal with more maintenance, which I’m not ready for at this stage in my life.

2. Can you describe the place where you live?

→ My apartment is really cozy and filled with natural light. It has big windows that brighten up the space, and I’ve decorated it with some personal touches that make it feel warm. If I could change anything, I’d love to have a small balcony to enjoy some fresh air.

3. How long have you lived there?

I’ve been residing in my apartment for about three years now. It’s amazing how quickly time flies!  It feels like home now, and I’ve grown quite attached to the area. If I had known how much I’d enjoy living here, I might have moved in even sooner!

4. Who do you live with?

→ I’m currently living with my parents, and it’s nice to have that family support. They make our home warm and welcoming, and I love spending time with them. Living together means we can share responsibilities and enjoy family meals regularly. I really appreciate the close bond we have.

5. Please describe the room you live in?

→ My bedroom is my little sanctuary. It’s decorated in soft, calming colors, and I’ve got a comfy bed and a stylish wardrobe. I’ve arranged everything to create a cozy atmosphere, making it a perfect spot to relax or work. This room truly feels like my personal haven.

6. What part of your home do you like the most?

→ The kitchen is definitely my favorite area of the house. Cooking is one of my passions, and I love trying out new recipes there. It’s also a great space for gathering with friends and family over meals. It really feels like the heart of our home, where a lot of wonderful memories are made.

7. What room does your family spend most of the time in?

→ We often find ourselves in the dining room, especially during meal times. It’s a place where we come together to share not just food but also our daily experiences. The conversations that happen while we’re eating are some of the best moments.

8. Do you prefer living in a house or a flat?

→ While I’m currently staying in a tiny apartment, I find myself leaning towards living in a huge villa in the long run. The thought of having a garden and more space excites me, just imagine hosting weekly barbecues and enjoying nature right at the doorstep! If I ever have the chance to move into a house, I would jump at it. Having that extra room for guests or hobbies would be fantastic!

9. Are the transport facilities to your home very good?

→ I would say the transport options near my home are excellent.  I have easy access to buses and the metro, which makes getting around the city a breeze. If I had to rely on my own car, it would be a different story, but public transport is really convenient for me. I’ve never had any major issues with commuting.

10. What kind of house or flat do you want to live in the future?

→ My ideal future home would be a cozy cottage in the countryside. I’ve always loved the idea of being surrounded by nature, where I can escape the hustle and bustle of city life. If I had the chance, I would also include a small library filled with my favorite books. It would be a peaceful retreat where I could unwind.

11. What makes you feel pleasant in your home?

→ What I love the most in my home is the cozy atmosphere. The scents from candles and fresh flowers create a lovely ambiance. Whenever I walk in, it feels like a warm hug. If I could bottle up that feeling, I would!

12. What do you usually do in your home?

→ In my flat, I usually spend time relaxing after a busy day. I love curling up with a good book or watching a movie in the living room. Cooking is also a big part of my routine; I enjoy trying out new recipes. Overall, it’s a space where I can recharge and enjoy my hobbies.

13. What’s the difference between where you are living now and where you have lived in the past?

→  The main contrast between my current apartment and where I lived before is the space. My previous place was much smaller, and I often felt cramped. Here, I have more room to breathe. It’s amazing how much a bit of extra space can change your experience!

→ One significant distinction is the location. I used to live in a quieter area, but now I’m right in the middle of the action. The convenience of being close to shops and transport is fantastic. If I had known how much I’d enjoy this lively environment, I might have moved sooner!

14. Do you think it is important to live in a comfortable environment?

→ Being in an living space that you feel good in is crucial, in my opinion. It allows you to unwind and recharge after a long day. If your home is a place where you feel at ease, it can positively influence every aspect of your life.  Comfort is definitely something worth investing in.
